Team Members

Team Leader: Harrison Mclarty

Harrison McLarty is a current senior mechanical engineering major at Florida State University. He will graduate in the spring 2014 semester with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation he plans on pursuing a full time position in Industry, and eventually obtaining his professional engineering license in the future.

Webmaster: Alex Mankin

Alex Mankin is a graduating senior mechanical engineering student with a focus in mechanics of materials at Florida State University. Throughout his time at Florida State he has been a participating member of the Society of Automotive Engineer's Mini-Baja Team. Using this automotive knowledge and previous experience he was the one who performed Finite Element analysis on the turbocharger casing to ensure the material selected would be an adequate replacement. With the knowledge gained from the hands on club expierence along with his Senior Design project he hopes to pursue a job in the automotive industry.

Ralph Scott

Ralph Scott is a senior in Mechanical Engineering at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. His enthusiasm towards automobiles has leaded him to join the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), which he has been a member of for two years. Being a member of SAE has helped him learn not only how to apply the engineering practices he has learned in his college career to try and solve problems. It also allowed him the learn the importance of team dynamics and how team work is to the success of any project. Working with his fellow senior design group members towards the completion of their project, has only helped to drive home this fact, that team work is the key to success.

Abiodun Oluwalowo

Abiodun is a second semester graduate student at FAMU - FSU College of Engineering majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Bachelors degree with honours in Metallurgical and Material Engineering from Federal University of Technology Akure, Ondo state, Nigeria. He briefly pursued his career in Dorman Long Engineering Limited, where he was part of the maintenance team. As a maintenance Engineer in Dorman Long, He was responsible for the operation of the Heat treatment Furnace and maintenance of the equipment in the shop floor. Abiodun's research interest at FAMU - FSU is on Corrosion Engineering.
