Target Summary

The project’s targets were established based off of the customer needs and what the selected drone must do to meet those needs. The targets were generated with specific metrics in mind so that they can be tested and verified. First, the team agreed upon what was most important to the customer. From there, those needs were broken down into specific functions and targets based on what the customer wanted accomplished and what the team reasoned for the particular function. After reviewing the team's discussions with the customer, the targets were broken down into critical and non-critical targets. Critical targets are those that are most important to the customer as well as those most vital to the success of the system. In total, seventeen targets were specified with seven of them being critical targets. Below is a table of the functions with their respective targets and metrics, and the tools that will be used to validate them during testing. The empty row on the table separates targets created independently of a specific function.
