Flight Systems

Autonomous flight will be handled using FlytOS and Pixhawk with stability and reliability in mind

On-Board CPU

Nvdia Jetson TX1 will provide the necessary processing power to perform intense image processing tasks

Object Detection

Using OpenCV and Python, objects of interest will be identified autonomously, reducing the time involved in SAR operations

Communication

The ground station will be equipped with a directional patch antenna to broadcast the signal to establish an IP network

Propeller Configuration

6 brushless DC motors equipped with 10x3.8SF propellers will provide the required thrust

Battery Capacity

4 cell LiPo battery will be utilized to delivered the required flight time of mininum 18 minutes
