A look into the work planned for Team 502 throughout the Spring 2019 semester

Functional Prototype Assembly

Using the concepts selected in the Fall 2018 semester, the FAMU-FSU Psyche Mission team will gather the necessary components and complete a functional prototype of the Xenon Flow Control Module.  The proposed completion timeline for this aspect of the project is early March 2019.

Testing at Marshall Space Flight Center

The Xenon Flow Control Team has the opportunity to test the designed prototype at Marshall Space Flight Center's state of the art faclilty - allowing for vacuum chamber tests that simulate space-like conditions. This testing is scheduled to occur in late March / Early April permitting proper test documentation is approved.
