Alexander Stringer
Team Leader
Mechanical Engineer
Florida State University

Alexander is a double major in Mechanical Engineering as well as Mathematics. He brings good leadership experience as a Kitchen Manager at Chick-fil-a to the project. He is interested in thermal fluids with a focus on hypersonic flow and flight. He plans on continuing his studies at Florida State University to complete his double major aspirations.

Crystal Wells
Procurement Officer/Coordinator

Crystal is a senior in Mechanical Engineering, focusing her education on Thermal Fluids and Materials Science. She maintains position as Procurement Officer as well as Coordinator, handling all public relations aspects of the project. Her position as Public Relations Chair in Society of Women Engineers brings her experience in this project.

Joseph Hamel

Joseph is a Mechanical Engineer with a special track in Thermal Fluids. His interest focuses on alternative energy and pursuing this through graduate school. He completes work in this area under Dr. Juan Ordonez as well as interning for ReThink Energy Florida. He is the Webmaster and works hard in researching/assisting in deliverables and all other tasks.

Dr. Devine has a Bachelor's of Science in Physics and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Texas. He is a professor and has entrepeneurial expertise where he gives assistance to the group. He continues to assist the group with the business aspect of this entrepeneurial project.

Dr. Shangchao Lin

Dr. Lin received his Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. He received his Master's of Science and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has expertise in heat transfer and provides advice to the group in this significant aspect of the project.

Ian Winger

Ian Winger is the inventor of the patented Solar Sausage and assists the group in any design or conceptual aspects concerning this component of the project. He continues to work in the Keen Building on improving its design. He received his Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering at Florida Atlantic University in 1980.
