Carol Hill was hired in May 2019 as the new Director of Development, Engineering (FSU Foundation)

On Monday, June 2, 2019 FAMU-FSU College of Engineering dean J. Murray Gibson announced Ms. Carol Hill, M.B.A., was hired as the new Director of Development, FSU Foundation, for FAMU-FSU Engineering. 

"We are very pleased that the FSU foundation has provided us with a full time development officer to replace Sarishni Patel, who served us well for many years," he said.

As a part of the engineering team, Ms. Hill will work directly with the FSU foundation and the college’s alumni, and work co-operatively with the FAMU foundation.

Hill officially joined the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering as Director of Development (FSU Foundation) in May 2019. Before her appointment, she worked for the Small Business Development Center at Florida A&M University. She is an alumna of Florida A&M University where she earned a bachelor's degree and MBA. Previously, Hill was Director of Development at the United Way of the Big Bend. She is a member of the Tallahassee Junior League and serves as a board member for several philanthropic non-profits in Tallahassee, including Lighthouse of the Big Bend, the Meek Eaton Black Archives and the Oasis Center for Women and Girls, where she is the Fund Development Committee chair.
