Getting Started

These notes teach you the basics in C++ programming. No previous programming experience is required. However, any prior background in programming will be helpful. The notes are organized to get you started with the basics and build on advanced features with time.

C++ represents the current state of the art of computer languages. Although C++ is not the easiest programming languages to learn. It is, however, the best programming language to learn. Once you have mastered C++, you will have virtually complete control over the computer.

Students are required to run their programs on PCs and UNIX machines.
