Rear Stagnation Point Flow

This page under construction. A mathematical study of the formation of a boundary layer at the leeward side of an obstacle, such as a wire or a leg of an oil rigg. This one showed that earlier work had ignored small, but very important effects, and had derived incorrect results. That work had concluded that the flow cannot fully be solved and tried to guess the missing part. The guess was close, but not close enough.
