Put modem into machine two, put sister answer machine on hold, dialled the speaking clock, plugged modem into phone line, hang up phone, phone rings to pick up holding call machine two starts to warble, unplug modem, put null modem cable in and wait. (Also, hang up phone). Took about twelve goes but it worked eventually. Can anyone see an easier way other than to "adjust" the program? Just do what I did: use a null modem and type RING
